Villa Teak Living – Refund, Delivery & Cancellation Policy

1. On-Site Quality Guarantee & Delivery Inspection To ensure your order meets our quality standards, we require a full inspection upon delivery.

• Chiang Mai & Lamphun Provinces (Free Delivery & On-Site Assembly): Our team delivers and assembles your items on-site. If structural defects or transit damage are discovered while our team is present, the item will be taken back immediately, and you may choose between a full refund or a replacement at no additional cost.

• All Other Regions (Central, Bangkok, Southern & Islands): For shipments handled via regional freight, any structural defect or transit damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to us within 24 hours with photographs.

• Final Acceptance: Once the delivery receipt is signed (or 24 hours pass without damage reported for regional freight), the item is considered accepted in good structural condition.

2. All Sales Are Final ("No Change of Mind" Policy) Because solid teak furniture is heavy, handmade, and requires specialized transit, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for a change of mind once an order has been delivered and accepted.

• Eligible Resolutions: Refunds or replacements are strictly reserved for items with verified structural defects or transit damage reported at the time of delivery inspection.

• Confirming Your Order: Please inspect your items carefully upon arrival. Signing the delivery confirmation finalizes your order.

3. Cancellation & Custom Order Policy

• Standard Orders (Prior to Production/Dispatch): Orders may be canceled for a full refund if requested before production or processing has begun. Once production or processing has commenced, cancellations will incur a fee of 50% of the price of the item to cover raw materials and scheduling costs.

• Custom Orders: Because custom items are crafted specifically to your unique specifications, cancellations made after production has commenced will result in a 100% forfeiture of the total amount paid. Custom orders are non-refundable once production has started, except for structural damage or defects identified upon delivery inspection.

• How to Request a Cancellation: Please contact our team immediately at fon@villateakliving.com with your order number. Cancellations are only considered finalized once confirmed in writing by our customer service team.

4. Natural Timber, Color & Handmade Characteristics (Non-Refundable) Every piece from Villa Teak Living is individually handmade from solid timber. Natural variations are a hallmark of authentic craftsmanship and are not considered defects or grounds for a refund:

• Finish & Color Variations: No two pieces absorb finish in the exact same way. Even two pieces finished with the exact same stain will have subtle, beautiful variations. A small sample or product image may differ slightly from your final piece.

• Grain & Texture: Natural variations in grain pattern, color tone, and shade across individual pieces.

• Wood Traits: Minor surface knots, organic wood grain texture, or minor fill marks that do not compromise structural integrity.

• Organic Movement: Natural expansion or contraction of timber as it adapts to seasonal humidity shifts.
